This very VERY CHALLENGING difficulty tour is entirely in the western Sierra Madre mountains of Mexico. We will climb a 4200m high volcano, visit villages producing fantastic crafts, see geothermal vents, pine forests, lakes, colonial towns and mining towns, a massive cave and more. We'll even visit the marble-paved streets of the birth village of the last Aztec emperor. After meeting in Zihuatanejo , we take the bus to Uruapan and then cycle back along this very scenic 3 week route. more information
